Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) has higher tensile strength, pressure resistance and dimensional stability than PTFE, but lower friction and insulation properties. PVDF has high mechanical strength and toughness at low temperature, and has self-extinguishing function. The operating temperature range is between -30°C and 150°C. PVDF is highly resistant to chlorine, bromine and high energy radiation.
